Simon Burke
Born 8th October 1961 in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
A great stage actor Simon's credits include: Iolanthe 1991; Marius in Les Misérables 1987 [Sydney]; Raoul in Phantom of the Opera [London]; Dr. Henry Jekyll in Jekyll and Hyde [October 1997 Australia]; Nosferatu, the Vampire; Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing; Anything Goes; Whizzer in Falsettos [Sydney]; Billy Flynn in Chicago [Australia]; and the title role in Leonardo in Oxford.
Won an AFI award for Best Actor in The Devil's Playground.

Simon spent 10 years in London where he performed in theatre such as David Williamson's Up For Grab's & Phantom Of The Opera.

"It's funny. When I went to London I was known for being an actor & people were saying 'You won't be able to sing', and when I came back to Australia & thought I wanted to do some film & television again they said, 'Wasn't he a musical theatre actor?'."

"I Loved being in England & I had a fanastic time.......but being over there meant concentrating on musical theatre & missing out on a lot of film & television stuff here."
