Simon is a graduate from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts
Simon's theatre credits include: That Eye - The Sky, Live Acts On Stage & playing “Jared” in the Sydney Theatre Company’s Blackrock.
Simon has appeared in two short films, Human Dress and Sunkissed Goodbye (Perth Festival Winner 1992).
Simon took part in the 2003 POV competition where 6 Australian filmmakers adapt the same short story into a short film.
Nominated for an AFI Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role award for his role in Blackrock.
Growll is the first short film Lyndon directed. Shot in April 2003 it's about two children, Jamie and Cooper, and their journey with a huge Alsatian called Boss.
Simon on his short film Growll:
"I have always wanted to make a film for Tropfest. I go every year and I want to get into features eventually. You have to start small - or short - and get bigger."
Simon on spending $1500 on making Growll:
"It's not that much for a film like this. I also had some helpers including photography director Steve Arnold (Dating the Enemy and All Men Are Liars) who worked for free."
