Gary Sweet
Born 22 May 1957 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Gary grew up in Warradale, South Australia,
Married 3 times, Gary has 4 children. 2 (Frank & Sophie) with Jill Miller & 2 (Jesse James and Joe Buster) with Australian TV presenter & former Commonwealth Games swimmer Johanna Griggs.
Attended Flinders University in Adelaide, where he got a Diploma of Teaching 1979 and a BEd 1980.
Best known for his role as Mickey on the popular Australian drama series Police Rescue.
In 1991 and 1992, Sweet won the Australian Film Institute’s Award for Best Actor in a Television Series. In 1993 he won the Variety Club Heart Award for TV Actor of the Year and a TV Week Silver Logie Award in two categories.
